               “Blind Love”

Once there was a girl. Her name was Margaret Brantley. She lived in a small town in Ireland where their family customs, traditions, norms and values were highly respected and it was obligatory for them to follow the set traditions. Her mother spent her whole life according to her husband and in laws will. Women perspective was not valued as much in their family and was not given any importance to their decisions. Margaret’s father was considered as head of family and he only had the authority to take all the decisions about their house matters as well as their lives. Women in their family were not even allowed to go out alone or study abroad. Margaret was only child of her parents and she was very intelligent. She possessed God gifted qualities that how difficult the question or situation she had the ability to handle with politeness. She insisted her father to give her the permission to study in University of London. Her father first refused that he will not allow her to study outside her country but on her insistence, he finally got ready to give permission to study. She went with her father to university for admission test. On that day, she woke up early in the morning, it was quite sunny day. Birds were chirping. Children were playing in the streets. Cool air was blowing. People were enjoying themselves in calm environment. It was a pleasant day for her. Finally, she gave the test and marked 1st rank in test. On her first day in university a boy in her class fall in love with her at first sight. He started following her and noticed everything she had done in university. The boy named Justin belonged from a totally opposite family from Margaret. As Justin was not aware of Margaret’s family tradition and set values so it was easy for him to fall in love with a girl outside her family. He was tall, black and gigantic in appearance. Margaret had no idea that he was following her and had feelings for her. She did not noticed him in class or whenever he was following her. Justin’s family was totally opposite from her. He did not belong to a conservative family. One day Justin went to Margaret to propose her but failed. He tried continuously for 3 days but he couldn't able to do that. Finally he mustered up his courage and proposed her. Margaret was in shock to hear, she thought about her family’s strict rules and refused him. Justin after this did not lose hope and tried his best to make her happy and accept his proposal. One day, when Margaret was going home, some goons looted her at gunpoint. Justin was watching the situation and saved her life without caring about his own. This made Margaret to feel that she was wrong. He is the one who will be best partner for her. She accepted his proposal and decided to make their relationship private. Justin insisted Margaret to tell everything about their relation but she hesitated to tell the truth to her conservative family. This continued for a while. As Margaret belonged to a rich family so it was easy for her to get a house and other thing for her after marriage. One day, her father decided to surprise Margaret with his presence in University but he was shocked to see her daughter sitting next to a black guy and gossiping with each other. He at first, did not believed that it was her but when he came closer, he saw that it was her daughter. He lost his temper and took Margaret with him to home. Margaret and Justin were worried about their future and the gate she was going to meet decided by her family. Her parents asked Margaret that if you consider that Justin’s love is true then ask him to prove himself. Margaret was so confident that he will surely come and take her with him. She got do indulged in Justin’s love that she was not ready to hear a single word against him. She waited for so long that he will come but it turned out to be even worse. One night, the phone rang Margaret picked up the call and it was Justin’s voice. He asked her to pack her all belongings and escape from her home as soon as possible. She was madly in love with the black guy. She packed her belongings and ran away from home. She reached at the bus station It was a dark night, all alone and darkened sky. The time she realized that she is not doing right. She remembered all her parents sacrifices and special moments she spent with them. She realized that he betrayed her with his fake love just for her riches. She returned back home and “She looked into a dark pit and found nothing but herself” It was the moment she realized that no one in this world is loyal with you except your parents. Everything in this world is temporary. Her love became heavy over her emotions and she clicked herself into her own fantasy world to escape from bitter reality. She came to know that she has to stand for herself. The only love which is pure and true is parents love. In this cruel world, you have to manage yourself on your own. It was her mistake that she blindly trusted the guy so she found herself guilty at the end. After sometime, she healed herself and totally became a different person. She served as a Nun in a church and also worked in N.G.O to spend quality time with children. She after realization lived happily and peacefully.
